Serena Sukhija, OD, FAAO

Dr. Serena Sukhija is the Chief of Vision Rehabilitation and Assistant Professor at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry.

Dr. Sukhija earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neuroscience, with an associate degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. She went on to do a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation at the State University of New York College of Optometry and Lighthouse Guild. She completed her fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry in 2015.

Dr. Sukhija formerly served as the Coordinator of Low Vision Services at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. She is from Los Angeles, California.
