Samantha Myers, OD, FAAO

Dr. Samantha Myers graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Biology in 2014. She went to optometry school at Salus University, where she graduated with honors in 2018. She went on to complete a residency in Cornea and Contact Lens at Salus University in 2019.

She now works as an Assistant Professor at the Kentucky College of Optometry (KYCO). Here she is the course director of the clinical skills 1 and basic contact lens courses. She also works with third- and fourth-year students in KYCO’s primary care and advanced cornea care clinics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has presented posters at several optometry conferences. Dr. Myers is enthusiastic about serving patients in need and has participated in multiple Student Volunteers in Optometric Service To Humanity (SVOSH) and Remote Area Medical (RAM) trips.
