Matthew Baugh, COT, MHA, OCS, OCSR, is the American Academy of Ophthalmology's (AAO's) manager of coding and reimbursement. His management experience in ophthalmology includes overseeing compliance, internal audits, quality improvement projects, clinical operations, and optimizing reimbursement.

Mr. Baugh's clinical experience includes working as an optician, scribe, technician, and ophthalmic technician supervisor. He is a contributing author to the entire line of AAO coding products. He is a recipient of the AAO's Secretariat Award.
